Lardo’s New Cocktails!
On Friday May 15th, 2015 Lardo introduced a new cocktail line up and I was there! Lardo Founder Rick Gencarelli commissioned renowned Portland Mixologist Justin Siemer to come with new cocktails for the summer season.
Justin hit it out of the park! The cocktails are truly wonderful! They are creative, different, flavorful — everything that I want in a cocktail.
Dirrty Boots and Whiter Shade of Pale!
I enjoyed each one the five new cocktails that Justin created and I would be happy to have any of them again and again. That being said, my two favorites where the Dirrty Boots and the Whiter Shade of Pale.
The Dirrty Boots has bourbon and pickle brine! I love the flavor combination! The Whiter Shade Of Pale has rum, Thai basil, lime and coconut. It does down very smoothly. Perfect on warm day.
I love Lardo and once again they have loved me right back! I encourage you to go to Lardo and one of these cocktails before summer ends!
